Preparing for the PaperCut Transition

This article describes what a user should know when transitioning to the PaperCut printing solution

PaperCut is a campus-wide print management solution that enables secure, trackable, and cost-effective printing for students, faculty, and staff.

PaperCut is here, what's next?

• Connections to the old printers will be going away December 31, 2025 so installing PaperCut printers will be required to continue printing.

PaperCut Transition Instructions:

1. Visit the printer(s) you need, locate the orange sticker affixed to it and make note of it's name (e.g. LOVEJOY_LASER_1, DIAMOND_LASER1, etc) for the following steps
2. Remove old Colby printers:

3. Install the PaperCut printer:
